Joanne has been a familiar face at Total Eye Care Center for more than 25 years. MS. JOANNE APEL: My name is Joanne Apel. I've been coming to see Dr. Pennachio for more than 25 years. I've had all of the procedures done with the cataract surgeries, the laser treatment following that, and keeping me up to date on the size of the frames that are current in these days. My children didn't like my big round lenses, although I don't change prescriptions that often. But I had to change lenses, so that was when I had these. And these are as small, evidently, as you can get the new trifocals. I need distance and good distance 'cause I play hand bells. So it's reading and good distance and I can. He's a fine doctor. He knows exactly what he's doing and what he's looking for. And the technicians that do the exams before he gets to come in do a wonderful job of analyzing what your needs are. Dr. Pennachio is definitely efficient and an expertise in his subject. And he's always so friendly, and he definitely remembers you from year to year. It's not like he, oh, did I see you before? No, he knows you, and he--we discuss sometimes some other issues that are going on in town, participation in other activities. So he's just a friendly person. I would recommend Total Care Eye to any of the people that I come in contact with because of his expertise, his knowledge, and his treatment of you.
