Low-vision Symptoms
Before you can establish goals for your low-vision rehabilitation, you must be officially diagnosed with the condition.
Symptoms of low vision typically include:
Blind spots : spotty sight or seeing with "holes"
Hazy or blurred vision : the inability to see sharp, defined, or small images
Tunnel vision : a circular effect in central vision from reduced peripheral vision
Difficulty focusing : the eyes have trouble remaining honed in on a small object
Reduced peripheral vision : a lesser ability to rely on side vision
Reduced night vision : the eyes have more difficulty adjusting to the dark
Difficulty performing tasks : driving, reading, viewing TV/computer screens
