You may be prescribed pain medication, as well as ointment and eye drops to keep the affected areas moist in the first couple of days. To keep swelling down, our surgeons recommend elevating the head.

Until specified by your Total Eye Care Center surgeon, you should avoid exerting yourself as a precaution. Using the computer, watching television, reading, and wearing contacts may be limited for a short time.
